The artist explores the process of the transformation of the ordinary to the extraodinary though the process of embellishment, elevating the status of PVC plastic. PVC is used as it is a softer and more malleable plastic and is also relatively inexpensive. Three dimensional shapes provide different perspectives from various angles as well as allowing for different layers when decorated by embroidery, its life is extended and its value elevated. The embroidery used is steeped in historical craft and requires much time and care in it.
