Stylistic conventions that surround the representation of nature have always intrigued her. The history of human interpretation of nature reveals the architecture of botanical forms and provides an intriguing aesthetic vocabulary. She enjoys reimagining and modifying botanical forms, reconstructing them with a reverence for process. Manipulating nature into ornamental design using geometric and artificial motifs references our interaction with the natural world and symbolizes the complex and important environmental challenges of today.
